Sims Group has completed four offices constructed from a single prototypical set of MEP plans developed by Sims Group for the Employment Security Commission and CDA Architects. Offices are located in Orangeburg, Newberry, Hartsville, & Beaufort. Open office plan allows easy interaction between job applicants and ESC employees. Application process completely computerized. Green building design measures included low wattage fluorescent indirect lighting, high-efficiency HVAC with local control of air volume via VAV boxes, low usage plumbing fixtures, and full cutoff site lighting fixtures designed so there is zero light trespass off of site.
