7,400sf office building for architectural firm Watson Tate Savory consisting of a complete renovation of an existing building constructed circa 1930. Project currently LEED Registered with the owner pursuing LEED Certification. LEED features include:
- High-efficiency HVAC units with individual controls provided at individual workstations via automatic damper controls;
- Low wattage metal halide, fluorescent, and low voltage lighting combined with daylighting to light building with a lighting power density of 0.79 watts/sf;
- Wattstopper Isole’ plug strips provide occupancy sensor control of task lighting and other non-essential plug loads at individual workstations;
- Low usage plumbing fixtures throughout the building; and Site Lighting analysis during design allowed elimination of building mounted lighting as existing street & parking lot light fixtures provide adequate lighting.
